Eco Movers to retire The Big Guys name, re-brand delivery and install divisions

Beginning in December 2019, Eco Movers will officially transfer its delivery and install divisions, currently operating under The Big Guys Home Delivery, under one umbrella.

The moving, delivery and install divisions will all operate under the Eco Movers name, but the ownership, office and operations staff will remain in place.

The Big Guys has been a leader in delivery and installation services across the Pacific Northwest since 1998. Combined, the two divisions boast nearly two-dozen trucks.

The biggest change most customers will notice is the phone system. The first option is for full-service moving, the second and third are for delivery and designer services respectively, and the fourth is for all other options. After the initial menu, all callers will reach a live representative during business hours.

Even though the name will be retired, The Big Guys founder Simon Khorrami remains with the team as the company’s Vice President and is an integral part of the day-to-day operations. The company is bracing for extensive growth over the next few years, and the single name is simpler for an expanding customer base.

Services traditionally offered by The Big Guys will expand to handle large- and small-scale household and commercial moving services. Eco Movers is now among the state’s largest local moving companies, and with two warehouses, is able to serve the Eastside and Seattle better than ever.

The Woodinville warehouse has undergone an extensive reorganization, which will make receiving and delivery faster and more efficient. This has also opened up space for vaulted household goods storage — and this is a big move.

Eco Movers can now offer short- or long-term storage to registered designers, particularly useful during home renovation projects or to stage a home for sale. We’ll send a team to carefully transport the items back to one of our two secure warehouses for as long as the project is underway, and deliver the items when the space is ready. The merger also allows designers to work with one company for packing, moving, storage, warehousing, delivery and installation.
